Just finished watching QPR-Newcastle on ESPN3 (which is fantastic quality by the way for a online stream)
god damn QPR looks good. 0-0 but it should rightfully have been about 3-0. QPR had dozens of chances. Shaun Wright-Phillips was playing like a man posessed. Joey Barton was Joey Barton. Traore was great for Rangers as well. And WOW Adel Taarabt out of Morocco...the kid can PLAY. So much skill. Hadn't seen him play really til today.
Great point for Newcastle on the road, they were not the better team but they got it done. Obertan and Best were in great form today.
Seriously though the moves that QPR have made. Solid squad now. I fully expect them to finish mid table this year if they can give consistent performances like that. Maybe even upper mid.
True, NUFC looked terrible in setting anything up offensively, and didn't look all that well-put-together defensively either. Tim Krul, Danny Simpson, and Coloccini and the ineptitude of the QPR offense are the only reason we walked away with a point. But, a point is a point, and you gotta take 'em anyway you can. Am I happy with the performance? No, we need more stability and play-making on offense. But I'll take this result. Howay the lads!
chelsea @ old trafford on sunday. should be a fun game
Hopefully he can do this for the National Team
Even after a horrible end to last season did anyone really think Arsenal's title challenge would be over after 5 games?
