and even more good news the U.S under 23 (Olympic team) beat Mexico under 23 2-0 tonight in Frisco, Tx, great day to be a U.S. Supporter
Thoughts and prayers to Fabrice Muamba
Bolton's Fabrice Muamba collapses, carried off; FA Cup game stopped - ESPN
that was really bizarre watching while it happened. Liked both sets of fans chanting his name. Hope he recovers
US beat Cuba 6-0 in first olympic qualifier last night. Yeah, cuba really sucks. But this team is actually pretty fun to watch.

And then they promptly lose to...Canada. Surprisingly the nucks looked to have some decent talent out there but there's still no excuse to lose. I think with their win over Mexico a few weeks ago and the drubbing of Cuba they were eating up the obligatory hype
seriously. what a let down.
must win against el salvador tonight (who beat cuba 4-0)
Sean Johnson....WTF? Comedy of errors the last few minutes of that game. Porter not using subs when EVERYONE on the field was dead...no clearance from Shea...and then the goalie blunder, ouch. This team just didn't deserve to advance. I know a number of the best US prospects weren't made available by their European clubs but the lack of overall talent was kind of scary
they just looked flat.
maybe the demolishing of cuba had these guys thinking they were better and more "entitled" then they actually are?
I don't think Adu looked comfortable on the right side, but at least he was trying to maintain possession.
Aside from the cross on the first goal, did Shea really do anything?
No goodwill from el salvador? How many times did I see them drop on 50/50 balls as though they had kneecaps or skulls blown off, and when no foul was called they jumped right back up?
very sad.
