Bruce got fired and he hates Cali and So Cal especially. I don't care who they name but would love to see them bring in some old Galaxy players as assistances, or even hire a few as the head coach, Calichman, Salcedo and Caliguiri all have been honing their skills in the college ranks. Cobi and/or Cienfuegos as an asst coach would be great for the team,MLS and game in general.

I can also see SIGI making a return to SO Cal, he can't be happy in C-bus I hear they are not happy with his results thus far. Don't know if the ego on either side could swallow that pill.

Funny stuff. Pavon is a good player off the ball, he can get himself open in an instant. That hasn't helped him because in the MLS most players put the ball where the player IS, not where he is GOING TO BE. The only player on the Galaxy that does that is Beckham. If Beckham and Pavon could play together healthy the results would be what was seen vs the Red Bulls. His flaw is that he doesn't play physical football, he's played in leagues where diving is the norm upon first contact.

Gordon has had plenty of time to learn the ins and outs. I understand that most leagues in the US feel years are needed to develop players, but the learning curve in soccer is much much shorter. High school was his academy time. College was his time in League 1 or lower. His time with the Timbers was his loan spell in the Championship. He's now been with the Galaxy for two years. He should know what he's doing.
