I watched the Real Madrid comeback and La Liga clincher a couple weeks ago on Gol TV. That British commentator is a bombastic ass. He just wouldn't shut up.

I might watch a game tonight though.

That would be Ray Hudson who I personally enjoy.

The guys doing Chile-Ecuador match do the lower league games on Gol TV.

I'm not sure who is doing the Mexico-Brazil match but that game is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

Also, the US men aren't going to completely forsake their domestic league by taking even more time off. Some people actually care about it.
The Gold Cup is not a major tournament.

I guarantee you they will not be getting their asses beat in South Africa the way they did in Germany, IF they are not afraid to get their asses beat NOW and learn.

The MLS? Dempsey, Tim Howard, Oguchi, Bocanegra, and Beasley do not play in the MLS. With the exception of Tim Howard and maybe Bocanegra, the others are not regular selections on their teams' starting eleven.

By the way, does anyone have as much a problem as I do keeping in touch with this thread? Because of the wide range of topics, leagues, players, etc.. that are discussed in this thread, I don't visit it as much as some of the other threads and sometimes, I get lost or fall back because of it. Anyone else experience the same? Should a new thread be created and maybe this time seperating some of the leagues? Food for thought...
It's not a bad idea at all.

    Real Madrid sacks Fabio Capello

A very harsh decision IMO. I don't remember any managers who got fired for winning.

    I spoke too soon.

Real Madrid did the same thing to Capello after winning the league title ten years ago.
