Jamie Carragher calls it quit on international career and defends his decision.
Carragher is fed up at being overlooked but bristled when it was suggested in an interview he was taking the easy way out.
'Don't ever call me a bottler on radio with all those thousands of people listening,' he said on talkSPORT. 'I've had the stomach to fight for my place for the last eight years.
I'd like to congratulate Jamie on his decision to quit. It is only going to help Liverpool in the long run.
**** Steve McClaren.

Based on youtube highlights, I am happy with Babel's signing, but also a bit concerned because I heard he is not naturally left footed.
Benayoun is a good replacement for Luis Garcia, but not a natural right winger.

Freddy Adu's agent plan to talk with Celtic
How far his star has fallen. ManUtd signs 18 year old Anderson, Arsenal signed 16 year old Theo Walcott last year, Liverpool signed 10 teenagers this summer alone, and Adu gets a sniff from the Scottish league.
To be fair, he was given too much responsiblity at a young age to carry the MLS.
