Way to ditch your team Arjen... Real Mierda still need a consistent midfielder and I have no idea why Saviola signed with Madrid when RVN & Robinho will get most of the starts. They also have Raul, Higuian, & Baptista who can play up front.

If I was Saviola I would have loved to have been re-united with Pablo Aimar and D'alessandro so I could relive my River Plate glory days. Oh well...

After their undefeated season, Arsene Wenger slowly let go of the influential players from that season and decided to rebuild with youth.

These are the main reasons why he left.
1. Arsenal have been building the last 4 years but only finished 4th in the past two seasons.
2. Henry isn't getting any younger.
3. David Dein, the director who hired Arsene Wenger, who bought Henry resigned/forced out from the Arsenal board.
4. Because of David Dein's exit, Wenger's future is uncertain.
5. Arsenal are still in their youth movement and still can't afford to buy big because they need to repay the debt for Emirates stadium.
6. Rumor has it his ego was getting too big and was affecting the chemistry in the locker room.

So Wenger sold him to Barcelona for a freaking bargain at $16M pounds

Liverpool lawyers to chase Heinze transfer

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed the club's lawyers are working on forcing through a deal for Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze after his initial bid for the player was rejected.

Recent speculation has linked the Reds with an offer in the region of £7million for the Argentina full-back, but any move appeared to have been ruled out by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

But Benitez has refused to back down in his pursuit of the 29-year-old and has revealed: 'We made an offer which they rejected.

'The lawyers are now working on it and so we have to wait. He's a good player.'

But also add to point number 2 that as well as not getting younger he has been missing more games each of the last couple of seasons due to injuries.
