of all the teams I'd rather have Liverpool lose to, fat Sam's team and their dirty tactics was not one of them.
That first goal gifted to Bolton was b.s.

Yup! I hate the way Bolton plays...

Does anybody really like Bolton??? Seriously?

Yes. I will be supporting Bolton when they play Chelski, Arsenal, Manure, and Neverton.
I hate to say it, but Fat Sam has implemented a style that works for the players Bolton has.
Bellamy, Garcia, and Pennant were being outmuscled...at least Bellamy and Garcia didn't shy away from contact.
I hope he proves me wrong, but I'm afraid Pennant isn't big club material. He is either unfit, or lacks the personality to take matters into his own hands to make the diference. It is not his fault Liverpool lost to Bolton. However, he has been a shadow of the player he was at Blackburn since he joined Liverpool.
The way I see it, he needs to stop caring about who he is playing with and just do the things we bought him to do.

Upsets in Euro 2008
Cyprus 5- 2 Ireland
Scotland 1 - 0 France
Although I don't consider Spain losing to Sweden 2-0 an upset, Spain is now in trouble(not deep *****, yet).
Keep this up and Spain might just have to call on Pau Gasol to lead the line

Same ole England right? Can't score against Macedonia. I'm sure they had a million chances. A game like that they could use a poacher type. Defoe can poach let him play more.

You're right, they had quality chances. Neville missed the best chance, an open net, at Old Trafford of all places.

Lampard again wasn't up to it. England misses Coles creativity and attitude on the left side. Overall, England were still the better team.
Not being biased but Crouch and Gerrard did well IMO, as did Wright Phillips who came on for Downing. With Gerrard out for the next matchdue to a yellow, SWP will probably start on wednesday vs. Croatia. Gerrard will probably go back to the left when he's eligible, until Joe Cole comes back. At least he gets a week off to prepare for Liverpool's next match.
Reo Coker and Micah Richards should be promoted from England U21. I would be very suprised if Richards is not the starting England right back by Euro 2008.
Another positive not is that McClaren actually openly criticised his players after the match. Next match in Zagreb should be interesting.

U.S Soccer made an offer to Klinsmann.
He would be perfect for U.S Soccer. The credentials are there as a former player, and proved himself this summer as a manager.

In yesterday Euro 2008 qualifiers, all favored teams got the job done.
England 0 - 2 Croatia.
Croatia backed up their trash talking with a very convincing performance against England.
The first half was so boring I didn't bother watching the second.
Every player on the England team were looking to pass first. Croatia could have been up 2 nil int he first half it weren't for Paul Robinson.
