He would be perfect for U.S Soccer. The credentials are there as a former player, and proved himself this summer as a manager.
the bad news is mexico made him an offer as well..

Mexico hiring a German? Wow, and people were pissed when they hired a guy from Argentina guy.

I don't see Juergen coaching Mexico, if he turned down an offer to stay as the German coach. Part of the reason I'm sure is to hang out with his family in California. And US Soccer's headquarters pretty much is California.

I believe that Juergen will sign for the US team sooner or later. He's life is overthere, he's still young and surely he does not want to retire yet....

    Croatia - England
Those are some overpayed mother**ckers in the England team. They've had 1 single shot on the goal, Croatians 9, Robinson made a blunder (nothing special for England goalkeepers) and the game could easily end 4:0. England sucks.

It would be exciting times for U.S Soccer if Juergen takes on the challenge.

Some of the following factors are my worries of him signing with Mexico.
    1) He has defied his critics(especially Beckenbauer), and proven he doesn't have to be on location to manage a national team.

2). Mexico is much closer to Newport Beach than Germany.

    3) Mexico is a soccer playing nation. Therefore, they have a bigger talent pool for him to choose from.

As far as England vs. Croatia goes, McClaren is playing the 3-5-2 with the wrong personnel, and the squad is being managed by the wrong person.

Carrick and Lampard are too slow and don't have the personality to drive a team forward. Carrick looked like he was too afraid to want the ball. Lampard was just being his useless self without Makelele. Parker tried but nothing was expected of him.

Carragher was played on the LB and did terrible. Him and John Terry should have swapped.

Neville is not a wingback because he's old, slow, and painfully one dimensional.

Neville had to make up for missing the empty net vs. Macedonia. :pardon:

I enjoy watching the World Cup and Euro but friendlies and qualfying doesn't really interest me. Unless its a really interesting game like Brazil-Argentina, USA-Mexico, something like that.
