By the way they played today, I say Chelsea wins CL this year, Barca maybe hangs on to win Primera League, and Man U wins Premiership. Chelsea's bench is so ridiculously deep, NOBODY can compete with them in that regard.

I have said this before, and will say it again, Robben is the most talented player in the premiership, AND he has a good work rate.

Total domination by ManU over Liverpool.

Im shocked by how little of a fight we put up.

btw, ManU's second was a world class goal by Rio.

    GrrrrrRRRrrrr!!!

...but whatever. Let this be a lesson to all those who hype a season before it happens. I'm still clinging on to, "Let's see how the season ends," idealogy...

I think Liverpool, Tottenham & W. Ham are suffering (some worse than others) from the same problem of just having too many players changes earlier in the season. Team Chemistry is just not all their yet for these teams and it should get better by the end of the season. Chelsea had this same problem earlier on and are just now turning it on...

Yup. But Chelsea, mainly because of Drogba, grinds out wins on their bad days.

However, in Liverpool's case against ManU, the effort wasn't good enough. Especially, out of all people... Gerrard, Alonso, and Carragher. I knew we would suffer to some degree with the influx of new players, but this is bad because our core players are the ones not getting it done.

Hyppia was poor as usual in distribution, and basically gifted the goal to Scholes. Agger is hurt so there are no alternatives.

Kuyt did his job and worked his butt off, but he was up against Rio and Vidic on his own. The highlight of the night was provided by Gonzalez, who came from behind on a 1 on 1 full on sprint and beat Rio to the ball down the left sideline.
