Madrid is already up by 1 at the 6th minute mark...

This is exactly why I am not a Rikjaard supporter, he plays 3-4-3 with Presas Oleguer as one of his defenders. He's basically the Modry of defenders in all of football... Needless to say their defence is mediocre even with the likes of world class defenders like Thuram and Puyol.

Anyhow, as I type it is now 1-2 Madrid because Barca cannot defend with 3 players.

Who the hell plays a 3-4-3 in a modern game without at least having your midfielders be held accountable for defensive duties???

Now Madrid is looking to put this game away and Barca already look defeated...

Barca supporters are still not happy with the 3-3 tie, although they should have been awarded a penalty if that ref had not had his head up his own ass...

Either the directors get some decent defenseman and a decent holding midfielder (Marquez/Edmilson are mediocre at best!!!), or Rikjaard goes, something needs to be done because this team is not going to be winning any trophies like this.

Villareal wasn't exactly far from home. Anyway, Llevant were missing some guys, but they still sucked. They lead in shots and apparently squandered some sweet opportunities (Riga mostly), but I wouldn't know since I can't ever watch my guys.

Inter won their derby match with AC Milan. Being out of the Champions League and so far ahead in the Serie A, this was probably their last real meaningful game, for them anyway. AC Milan got ahead 1-0 too, but couldn't hold it.

I watched the replay of the game too and Italian football is missing something. That game just could not compare to the Barca v. R. Madrid derby in many respects. Strange because both italian teams are loaded with talent...
