So...what did temporarily closing the stadiums accomplish?
In more positive news, that AZ/Bremen match was pretty entertaining for a 0-0 draw. I think Wome had the two best chances, one on each team's net.

You Euro snobs too good for this Houston/Pachuca? The assist on the tying header just now was abtholutely fabulouth.
I missed that game unfortunately. I agree with you though, the Argentine league to me has been the most entertaining this year and as a bonus they have amazing cheerleaders!
As far as who I'm rooting for, I will stick to rooting for the underdogs, which basically means that Krudmonk gets screwed...
Ferdinand with a sweet own goal. And the EPL gets a little more interesting.... WAIT! O'Shea just put one in 2-1 with extra time remaining... *sigh* Man U look like they're still hungover from their trip to Rome. Too many games played for these guys.
To be fair to Ferdinand, James would not have been so lax on that Manchester goal had they not just gone up 2-0.
Thanks for putting the hex on Mr. Irrelevant!
Not so much the games played. It's the injuries finally catching up to United.
When you look at the team sheet, you only really saw 2 real goal threats. And Rooney isn't having a very strong season. It was still a good side, one that should have beaten Portsmouth but having Rooney playing as the lone striker leaves a lot to be desired. Ronaldo roamed and even moved up, but even then he's not a forward.
Plus having Brown and O'Shea in the starting back 4 isn't very appealing either.
So, on Saturday Portsmouth beats the number one team, but on Monday, they are beat by the last place team. If anyone needs a definition of irony, this scenario should help.
Agbonlahor destroys dreams for a living.
