In more positive news, that AZ/Bremen match was pretty entertaining for a 0-0 draw. I think Wome had the two best chances, one on each team's net.

Not so much the games played. It's the injuries finally catching up to United.
When you look at the team sheet, you only really saw 2 real goal threats. And Rooney isn't having a very strong season. It was still a good side, one that should have beaten Portsmouth but having Rooney playing as the lone striker leaves a lot to be desired. Ronaldo roamed and even moved up, but even then he's not a forward.
Plus having Brown and O'Shea in the starting back 4 isn't very appealing either.
