AC Milan 2 - 0 Liverpool
Overall, I thought Liverpool were the better team. The first AC Milan goal bounced off Inzhagi's arm.
Mascherano was my player of the game. AC Milan were free to roam once he came off for Crouch.
Zenden and Riise needs to go.
btw, the ref sucked!
I mean, all the way until the end, when he blew the whistle at 2:30 added time, when he allowed a minimum of 3 minutes added time.
It was 2-1 actually and putting Crouch in made it interesting nonetheless.
I agree that Liverpool was dominant in midfield, but then off course they were fielding Xabi Alonso AND Mascherano who are arguably the 2 best D-mids in the world... Then again, fielding a 4-5-1 was going to leave them a little thin upfront and they just couldn't manage to take advantage of their opprtunites.
Liverpool and Rafa Benitez are already clearing out surpluses, and be aggressive competing for elite players.
Zenden will be let go. Mark Gonzalez will be sold to Real Betis. Mr. Irrelevant, have you heard anything?

I wouldn't be suprised to see David Silva from Valencia, and Carlos Tevez wearing a Liverpool shirt in August.
This loss may wind up being great news for Liverpool. Only time will tell. They played a great game, but lacked that cutting edge to put the ball in the back of the net...
Well, I don't think Silva will be moved (big piece of Valencia's puzzle) and last I heard Real Mierda & Chelsea will be figthing for the services of Carlitos Tevez. We'll see what happens in the summer market because Chelsea is probably going to get rid of Shevchenko (another good thing) and anybody else notice that AC Milan is full of old farts??? The rumour machine in Milan says that they want to go for Eto'o, Ronaldinho, & get Shevchenko back. AC Milan is full of **** and now I can go back to hating them again!!!
www.tribalfootball.com is the best/worst gossip rag in all of soccer. You'll know what I mean once you read it.
IMO there are exciting times coming ahead for Liverpool. The days of playing second fiddle in the transfer market could be over with the backing of the new owners.

Benitez is furious with the lack of aggressiveness in the transfer market of current CEO Rick Parry.

Here's a solution. Let Tom Hicks sign Tevez to a 10 year $250 million deal! =)

35 million pounds is the rumored price Chelsea offered West Ham for Tevez. I hope his connection with Mascherano, and the Spanish base of Liverpool could convince him to sign for us.
In fact, Mascherano was quoted today saying Tevez is thinking about a possible move to Liverpool.

39 million pounds for Berbatov? :fool: That's tribalfootball alright.
