I think Manchester City's problem at first will be attracting players, yea they have ton of money, but while money is everything for certain players, I don't know if the same holds true for everyone. Prestige still matters and it will take a few seasons for City to attract the players they want. And still success isn't guaranteed.
For example, they want David Villa and Fernando Torres. While I'm sure this Dubai dude can triple their wages, is that where they really want to be? Same with Ronaldo, I don't think a ton of money will convince him to play for City(part of that is me just hoping). I'd imagine that club prestige still matters to him.
