Geez, trying to watch the Guatemala/USA game, the lighting is gawd awful, mix in some TV lights. I can't even tell who is who on the pitch.

I was gonna say did anybody know there was a US qualifier tonight? I had no idea.
This field/stadium looks like ****.
Guatemala has a bunch of dirty little ****s.
no kidding - worse than usual tonight.
just back from the pub. a few good pints in me but -
not a bad start to the semifinal round.
Thought Timmy was going to beat the crap out of Ruiz.
I get the Bradley brings in a guy like Ching in games like this for some of the defensive effort. Just didn't see much between him and Dempsey. (Dempsey looked like a crying baby when taken off)
I can't wait for Jozy Altidore to become a mainstay up top.
Nasty hit Eddie Lewis took. Hope he is alright (and healthy coming to LA)
Edu (who just signed a 5 year deal with Rangers) should be starting.
Like Donovan a lot more in the middle than on the wing.
That pitch was terrible.
Good screen set by Ching to open up space for Bocanegra. Didn't even see what he did until the replay.
That pitch was terrible.
Holy christ, CONCACAF is so...tercer mundo. Did they have a couple Maglites on sticks? I guess all the money went into security escorts and debris shields. Can we pull an Australia/Israel and get into CONMEBOL? I mean, we do have have issues of both quality and safety. Mexico can come, too.
Guatemala most likely picked the ****tiest venue on purpose.
Was reading they had 1500 members of Guatemala's military to provide security for a 45,000 seat stadium.
The kick by Ruiz should have been a immediate red card. The hit on Lewis was nasty, he should be suspended for that kind of crap.
Nice theatrics by the home team, maybe there is an off Broadway show out there to join.
USA women are going against Brazil for the gold right now (6am Pacific) on USA Network.

Props the USA women's team for the gold. Was great watching the Brazilians crying so much.
