I expect Villa to end up with either Real Madrid or Barcelona. Valencia are already bankrupt, so I'm expecting it to happen very soon, but IMHO Barcelona's priority isn't up front, but at the back beginning with Yaya, no?
Liverpool's no.1 priority is to continue to upgrade the wings. Albert Riera was an upgrade, but we need to take another step up with that position and an upgrade at right back. Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli is the winger we are linked with and the one we should buy instead of David Silva. However, Napoli selling him would be like Barcelona selling Messi.
Liverpool scored the most goals this season with Gerrard and Torres having injury problems, and Riera, Dirk Kuyt, Babel, Benayoun on the wings. Now that the Benitez machine is in full flow, imagine what we can achieve with one or two top class wingers, and better right back, backed up by those four.
As for the not so urgent need, Javi Martinez is also being linked with Liverpool as the long term replacement for Alonso and Steven Gerrard. I would love it if this kid comes to Liverpool.
