I agree. I feel for Liverpool fans. As for Madrid, I keep thinking that they're going to implode, but with that insane level of talent, I just don't know.

IMO Real have the coach this time around. The only thing we can hope for this time is Florentino Perez doing what he does best and fxxking things up. Perez is the guy that signed Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo and David Beckham, then hired Carlos Quireoz(Who had won nothing as a domestic manager) and proceeded to undermine him at every opportunity.

It was Quireoz who wanted to keep Makelele and Perez refused, it was Queiroz who wanted to to sign Pepe for 2 mil, and Perez said "centre backs didn't sell shirts" and sure enough Real eventually signed him for 30 mil. Those Galaticos won 2 major trophies in 6 years which included a 3 year barren spell.

Oh yes in Florentino we trust.

Aquilani is on. I think he will be immense for Liverpool, he suits their style to a tee.

Chelsea would be fair favorites. But remember, Ancelotti has seemed to have better success in the Champions' League than in league play.

I can't see Benitez going with the 442, which is the formation that would give both Torres and Villa enough PT.

I hope Aquilani is as good as advertised.
