I know Dempsey has been one of the U.S.'s best players the past few years and he normally plays very well for Fulham but he has been very unimpressive lately (at least in international play). I think starting Holden over him for the remaining qualifiers would benefit the team. Dude has been money everytime hes put on the U.S. jersey and his service, crossing, speed and distance shooting are all better then Dempsey

Biggest thing, I'm just sick of all the dives and soft play in general from our qualifying group. Watching Newcastle play in Championship the last few games then watching last night's flop fest was just stomach turning. I mean seriously, is there a softer group in World Cup Qualifying? Christ, a stiff breeze sends most of these players flying.

did you see the first half of the CR - Mexico game? It was astounding. Whistle on every play. Stoppage every 30 seconds. Horrendous.
Dempsey often looks like he's loafing, but match tracks always put him at the top of the distance run charts. Wouldn't mind seeing him pushed up top late wednesday, to get holden more time.
