I did actually, I found a link to the Mexican net feed. They didn't even have the graphics up through the whole first half. You're right- absolutely brutal officiating.

Dempsey pushing up late seemed to work well for Bob in South Africa...

Dude has been money everytime hes put on the U.S. jersey and his service, crossing, speed and distance shooting are all better then Dempsey
Torres' near goal from the cross was fantastic! timing up to the run was good, and good vision from holden to find him. great save from ES keepr as well (hot damn i wish torres played more ::broken record:: )

thought we really started losing midfield battles when beckerman came in.

not tremendously impressed with bornstein's game.

davies made lots of good runs away from the ball. sounds like his time in france may be paying some benefits. very strong workrate he seems to have

also apparently edgar castillo has been given clearance from FIFA to play for the US. Might see him at left back in upcoming games?

very uncomfortable win. All of a sudden the top 4 spots have a logjam, seemingly making tomorrow's game against T&T another must-win

caught the Arg/Bra match on an internet download.

    - Maradona is the paul westhead of soccer coaches.

    - If Arg fall to 5th and Usa 4th, our only chance is to get a sniper to shoot messi in the leg. Holy ****!

    - It was nice to see the mutual respect between the 2 teams. Diving to a minimum, little poor sportsmanship.
Compared to the concacaf teams <rolleyes>

Have faith man, isn't our last match against (the quickly fading) Costa Rica at Giants stadium?

We ought to beat T&T today.
    Honduras @ Honduras, who knows.
    Win at home vs. CR.

That'll put us above 4th for sure.

predicated that we definitely win tonight and hope for a draw at honduras.
costa rica utterly annihilated us in CR. Fading maybe, but you just never know..

no one in their right mind would want to face off against Argentina in a playoff....of course 3 wins in a row and its a non-factor

England are in. What a difference a year(and a manager) makes.

    bornstein actually looked competent.

dempsey looked indifferent for much of the match.

thank you to T&T keeper. not the best effort.

El S just put us in the WC imo

A win today was going to put them in no matter what happened elsewhere.
