well that was a crazy comeback. sucks for you costa rica.

    Thank you Jose Francisco Torres!

from some late night report I liked:

Torres was magical in all the ways that nobody notices. His in-swinger corners from the right are very dangerous, but more than anything it is his off the ball work. His spacing, decision making, ability to switch the play very quickly, the way he opens up when he receives the pass to create numerous angles for himself and others. Torres is a huge improvement over Feilhaber, a better defender than Ricardo Clark and a much better passer than M Bradley. A couple of his balls were laser-like. One was a switched ball to Cherudulo that was hit very quickly and with exceptional precision. Even better was the bullet to LD's chest. LD's chest ball beat the defense, but Torres hit that ball with LD's pass in mind. He has exceptional vision and amazing speed of thought. He makes small five yard adjustments in his spacing off the ball that create acres of space for the Nats to play with.

Gooch out 3-4 months. That sucks

Tim Howard looks funny in a cowboy hat..

How about that goal in the Sunderland-Liverpool game yesterday? Never seen anything like that before!

Yea, definitely. I'll say this though, Sunderland definitely deserved something from that game. They played really well and have been in great form, especially Bent he has been great this year. Him and Jones, have been one of the best partnerships in the prem thus far.

Yup, kinda what Spurs wanted from him, but were not going to have the patience required for it to work.

Ouch, there were some poor results tonight, Barcelona losing at home to Rubin Kazan has to sting the most. Mr Irreverant's head must be exploding.

Yea, what an upset, anyone catch the Liverpool game? I think it's always somewhat of an upset when they lose at Anfield but man they look to be in bad shape. Either they'll have a rally around the flag type moment against United or they'll get crushed. Either way, it doesn't look like they'll be contenders this season.

I'm thinking so, because this is nothing like the team from last year.
