Sweet. That's one little country away from South Africa. The World Cup should be interesting.

The system outside of the US And Australia(both have salary caps) is so backwards, it's unbelievable. I often hear people complaining about the how corrupt the NBA and David Stern are, but they are small timers compared to governing body and owners of the sport outside the US and AUS.

Yeah, it looks that way. Any noise about placing a cap, or at least a luxury tax (which gets spread to the league?)

UEFA have talked about it. It's probably just lip service, but the English FA chief has already voiced his disapproval of it.

IMO it has to be a hard cap.

Football needs a real shake-up....Man utd the biggest and wealthiest teamin britain made a 48 million pound profit last year, that takes into consideration the sale of Ronaldo. So if Ronaldo had not been sold they would have lost 32 million pounds.

Both player salaries and transfers need to be capped, the transfers have become ridiculous too. When a team like Valencia runs up 250 million pounds of debt and can still trade there is a clear problem.

The way the soccer system is run outside the US and Australia(even though they have to play the transfer game outside of it) is so ****ed up, especially when it spans multiple continents involving so many countries and corrupted parties that it's going to take a long time to see changes.

Not only do we need to see caps on wages and transfers, but also the minimum age requirement for player transfers.
