Big win for United today. Could Nani finally be coming of age? He's always teased us with brilliant displays of skills only to flub his shot or cross. But he's had two fantastic games in a row against two big time opponents.
Fantastic skill from Nani on that first goal and a trademark United counter attack on the second. Rooney put in another top notch performance and the back line held it's own, thought Brown was superb in particular.
Thought it was a combination of a first class performance from United and a subpar one from Arsenal. Fabergas was not a factor at all and Asharvin was isolated up front. Up top as a lone striker is definitely not his ideal rolse.
Yea, Ferguson has shown a lot of faith in Nani. Many United fans were calling for him to be sold before this season. I was a tad more patient with him but was on a pretty short leash. The guy is obviously talented it's just that final ball that has been disappointing. At they very least he is a very good squad player but if he plays like he did the last two games he'll be an integral part of the team.
The last two games Nani had played on the right, his more natural side. He's been put on the left at the expense of Ronaldo (before) and Valencia (currently), it's unfortunate he hasn't been as good on the left since Valencia has been a very solid option on the right, but it's not bad having two good RWs with as many games as United played.
