That was very disappointing of Liverpool players. Seeing that he can't even catch a balloon, pool' should have challenged Gomes from ANY distance, but they didn't.

Vela is a step away from starting up front for Arsenal too.

The good thing about FSC getting the champions league is they are showing almost if not all of the games on tape delay. United, Liverpool and Chelsea was all ESPN/2 would show and I didn't get Deportes or Classic.

I was bummed FSC was choosing to show Sheriff and Olimpiacos as the live game but then I see Celtic/Arsenal is live on FSW.

Hopefully that will be a regular thing. That way we'll have at least one game in HD. Hopefully two if we eventually get a Fox Soccer Channel HD option.

As far as the game, I think Celtic made a good showing of themselves, Arsenal were a little sloppy in the early stages and their first goal was extremely lucky. That being said, it was only a matter of time before they broke through, up until that point I don't think they really had a clear cut scoring chance.

Vermaelen looks like a very good buy for Arsenal.

Yup, as I said before he was impressive in the Everton game. And when you buy someone from Ajax you know you are getting someone who is technically sound.

To be fair though, thus far he hasn't really been tested yet.

Good win for the Gunners, Parkhead is not an easy place to play as a visitor.
