I'm getting tired of these friendlies against big clubs like Real or Barca. AEG gets their money but their team was there to get embarrassed. Hopefully next time, we get relatively marketable European teams that aren't as good as Real Madrid next time so the Galaxy won't be overmatched as badly as they were last night. Valencia anyone? Well, we still got Manchester City this season.

I just can't get excited about seeing reserve players play half the game+. Nevermind the fact that some of those teams' reserves are probably better than most MLS teams to begin with...but I guess I just don't see the point.

Seems like you're the only Chivas fan here, SBU. Side note - why don't Chivas move to SD?

MLS has tried several time to get a good crowd in SD its has never happened. the Real game drew an announced 38K really it was closer to 28K. back in 99 they had the all star game there and drew maybe 10K.
San Diego is NOT a viable market for a MLS team. Even the Clippers left SD, as did the SD Gull. not enough support.

Chivas USA is looking at two sites for a new home and it will be done ASAP. We hate it at HDC as mush as you Galaxy fans hate seeing us there. AEG will miss our money when we are gone. What will that do to your ticket prices? again
BTW got to hang with Uncle Phil Saturday night at HDC. he even took a pic with me, that rare for him to allow photos

I got an online survey from MLS last week. About 15-20 minutes of whether I'd prefer another LA team to be either downtown or in pomona, and whether I'd follow a team in either location more than the other. Assuming they were doing it to study a chivas usa move?

Was at the man city game yesterday. Yeah, a mostly no-purpose friendly....but damn if i didn't have a great time. I don't know, watching these guys on tv every saturday..it's kind of cool to see them play in person, even if in a pre-season meaningless game.

Balotelli's missed back-heel and apparent meltdown with Mancini was hilarious. Magee's goal was awesome! LA has some ginger power. And everyone was cheering during the PK's like it was a world cup final. Quite funny....good times!
