Yeah me too lol I thought he would have the day off because of the travel from England and stuff. Sucks the Galaxy did not get at least a point out of this game. But the second half was a lot of fun I thought haha

I was surprised he played, and seemed to have the sprint that he did.
That 2nd half weather was nutty. What is it with the Galaxy and away weather so far this year!
That one hurts...
Yeah this game and lose does hurt indeed :( I'm hoping for a big win this weekend tho!
and Morales for RSL is now gone for the year with a broken ankle courtesy of Chivas USA, it really bothers me that a lot of quality players are going down for the year on terrible tackles.
Wow Morales is out? I just got home from the Galaxy game, and have not checked mls.com for news yet. LA's game was a very good one, and some amazing saves happened in the first half that is for sure lol
Look at the recaps of the Galaxy game and the AMAZING save by Ream on an empty net...robbing Donovan of his second goal of the night. Epic stuff indeed

An interesting piece in 442 magazine with regards to Mullan's tackle.
Mullan horror tackle underlines MLS identity crisis - The Real American Football - FourFourTwo
I would be interested to hear any thoughts on the blog, I have been watching a fair bit of MLS recently and have to say I enjoy it, I enjoy it way more than Serie A which is like watching paint dry fairly often.
The blog is spot on. This is what MLS has been for 15 years, a gritty underskilled, very physical league. Its not going to change to a finesse league over night. It will take many years to change.
I guess I have a few issue with it. Seattle does not have the best supporters in MLS and they happen in more than 3s as we saw in yesterday Chivas USA game making it 4.
We will see a few more before all is said and done
I was watching one of the Serie A games today, and I think I know what you are talking about. For a good amount of time, they just keep passing the ball in the midfield never setting up attacks on goal. Seems kinda like a slower style of soccer to me. But, I can't judge just from one game tho :ko:
I think the author meant quantity of fans, not qualtiy of fans, and Seattle does have more fans in attendence than any other team.
With that said, I've no prbolem with the Mullan suspension. And I'd encourage MLS to go after these guys harder than they are. Only that will stop these fouls. OK, that and improving the quality of the officiating. There MLS (and the USA) have major problems.
