What did everyone think about that penalty decision in the Austria-Croatia game? ESPN guys were all over the ref, I thought it was an alright call though.

No Clark so I think we'll see a Bradley-Edu midfield partnership in Bradley's 4-5-1. I like Edu a bit more than Clark. I think his ball skills are better and he's just as combative.

It was about as blatant a penalty as they get. All the UK commentators agree with me too

It was a DEFINITE PENALTY. He was no where near the ball when he made his lunging tackle. Stupid play on the defenseman's part.

Germans took care of business against Poland. Podolski's second was a fantastic finish.

I thought Poland actually looked good, German didn't really dominate possession and Poland had their moments. Not a bad showing for them.

Germans look tough though, Ballack and Frings are a good CM duo and they have good attacking options in Klose, Podolski, etc.

Califf starting for the United States. Could get ugly against Messi and CO.

So yea, why isn't Argentina wearing their dark blue jerseys.

In regular definition TV it sure is a pain in the ass to tell the teams apart.

Loving Euro '08 in HD. Can't wait to watch it in Europe next week.

Califf is doing an EXCELLENT job so far. I think both teams are being affected by the heat. Julio Cruz has missed some golden opportunities so far. I don't think Messi plays the whole game, and Argentina has enough fire-power to rest him for next week.
