Germans deserved it though, they were the dominant side in the first, and hung on in the second. Took their chances well and such.

Are Turkey unbelievable or what? Three straight come from behind wins.

Croatia had the better chances throughout the match. Modric's feed to Olic's miss was huge.

Tuncay and Turan, two of the best midfielders for Turkey, aren't going to be able to play against the Germans anyway.

Van Baston subbing out Kuyt was a big mistake. The Russians did most of the damage from the left after Kuyt came off.

Wow, who would have thought that Russia would outplay the Dutch so clearly?

Another nice game is coming up, Italy vs. Spain. I have no clue who will win this one, Spain is starting his top players and has played a great preliminary round, Italy is starting to play better but a few important players like Pirlo are suspended.

I'm definitely looking forward to this game.

Spain dominated and they were clearly deserving winners. I'm so glad the curse is broken, unfortunately I don't see them beating Germany in the final if they can get past Russia again.

I doubt they can get past the Russians this time around. I don't think Arshavin was available for the Russians when they played Spain during pool play.
