Couple that with chimbonda and a few other guys who may be purchased, quite the turnover at white hart lane.

no worry, I still fully expect a top 4 finish
Juande Ramos is an exceptional coach. I'm sure he's told those players that they should look elsewhere for employment. I really think Eto'o is landing at White Hart Lane, although the new grumblings are that Lyon are making a strong push for him.

Maybe a Berbatov for Eto'o swap?

Tell me more about Dani Alves Crazy_Ivan!!!
It was men against the boys last night, I was impressed with the flowing style of football that Guardiola had them playing. Henry seemed to look like his old self last night, Messi was amazing, Alves was very impressive on the ball and very self assured. I also thought that Krkic had an excellent game and was impressive and assured with the ball. Whether it is a sign of things to come is anyones guess because at the end of the day even Gudjonsen had a great game. The most impresive thing though I thought was the coaching, it seems to be a very nice style of football and looks like Guardiola is playing the players in their preferred position.

Wouldn't hurt. But funny, most of the reports I've ready don't really consider Eto'o a serious possibility.

Was a lot of talk about interest in the Russian (who's name i have trouble spelling and pronouncing so i won't try). But apparently tottenham's bid was about $7 or 8 million below what the russian club valued him at.

Most likely Pavlyuchenko, the Russians are just trying to cash in.

I heard Spurs were in on Arvashin. Not Pavlyuchenko. But he wants to go to Barca.

Could be, I just know that Pavlyuchenko is more of a out and out striker unlike Arvashin who is more of a playmaker.

So what's the rumour du jour regarding C. Ronaldo? Btw, he's been in Los Angeles all week if anybody is interested in stalking him.

That's what all the reports were saying, never saw Spurs linked with Pavlyuchenko, but that's when they still had everyone in the mix. Pavyuchenko isn't that good in my eyes, he's not a great finisher, not good enough for a top team anyways.

I've stopped clicking on those stories. Basically I figure Ronaldo will be around for another season and he'll be sold next summertime.
