    I don't know why, but Ibrahimovich looks like a ManU player. Not that he's ;eaving Italy anytime soon. Good luck overpaying for Berbatov.

    Looks like Berbatov was not top of the list though.

    "Valencia have rejected a bid by Manchester United for David Silva, according to the striker's agent.

    United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants a new forward before the transfer window closes on 31 August - but £20m-rated Silva, 22, wants to stay at Valencia."

    I can guarantee you Berbatov is at the top of Fergie's wish list. United haven't had a proper out and out striker since Ruud or when Saha was 100% which has been maybe 1 month during his 5 and half years in Manchester. Plus Berbatov brings that dimension of being able to set up other players.

    Silva is a quality player, but he wouldn't solve United's #9 problem. He'd play as a winger at United, he'd fit in really well, wouldn't mind him at all but I want Berbatov more.

    Eto'o is Officially staying put so that pretty much gaurantees MAN UTD will land Berbatov. Oh, and fwiw, David Silva would rather play in Spain, which is why he nixed the ManU deal.

    Hey, espn is even showing CL qualifiers this year. Glad I clicked the justin.tv link which was the espn feed instead of one of the sopcast streams. Even then I didn't think it was being shown in the states. Went and looked on the guide just to make sure and lo and behold.....


    Cesc, Toure, Nasri, Diaby and Senderos all out. Giddyup.
