Liverpool got lucky.

Standard Liege are a quality team. Sure, Liverpool were all over the place on defense(especially Agger and Dossena), but Liege were very organized and had some crafty players.

What happened is what always happens with Liverpool in the beginning of the season. They better figure this **** out before Sunday, damn it!!

They looked really good last night. Even when Liverpool's back line stopped playing like swiss cheese, Liege were able to consistently penetrate from left, right, and up the middle.
