2007-08 NBA Playoffs Thread
Lakers the only team to sweep their opponents in round 1
Orlando advances to round 2 4-1 over Toronto. Dwight Howard was dominant.
Phoenix about to be eliminated by San Antonio. That Shaq trade worked out well for them, didn't it?
New Orleans up 3-1 over Dallas. Jason Kidd is just too old and banged up to run with Chris Paul.
Utah up 3-1 over Houston. Looks like T-Mac won't make it out of round 1 yet again. They need Yao to accomplish anything in the postseason.
Cavs in control of the Wizards 3-1. DeShawn and Gilbert should have kept their mouths shut instead of talking **** about "overrated" Lebron.
And who the **** would have thought that Boston and Detroit would lose 2 games in round 1?

SHAQ was 2-8 from the field and 9-20 on free throws. That was a great trade for Pheonix....

Shaq should retire...And the Lakers lose a total of 3 games on the way the ring again..But now I'm questining whether or not it's going to Boston. I was really really hoping for it.

Would you retire if you were going to get paid 20 million for the next 2 years? Yea didn't think so.

If Shaq could only make his free throws the Suns would still be playing.

That's an oversimplification of things. Shaq was not great this series but he was not the sole reason the Suns lost. Nash was atrocious in game 5 offensively, he turned the ball over a ton and didn't shoot well. Not to mention that he is complete liability on defense any Tony Parker ate his lunch.

All these reasons are why the Suns lost. Shaq was not part of the solution, his FT shooting was poor as always but that was to be expected. His one on one defense against Duncan was acutally pretty good, he just still hasn't figure out how to defend the pick and roll. Basically saying he is the reason the Suns aren't playing is simply incorrect.

The Suns were pathetic today, and throughout the series. I love it!

Dallas got eliminated yesterday. Cuban shouldn't have mortgaged the future to get Kidd.

Celtics going to 7 with the Hawks. Wow.
Jazz up big on the Rockets in the first half. Looks like a Lakers-Jazz Game 1 on Sunday. (if the Rockets come back tonight to force Game 7, Game 1 is Tuesday)
