I'm definitely looking forward to tomorrow's game, which will likely be Gasol's debut in P&G

This post just bothered me so I had to respond to it. Kidd is NOT the defensive stalwart you're making him out to be.

Kidd being this lock down defender is a myth. Kinda like when Barry Bonds was winning gold gloves. I don't understand this notion of Kidd being some sort of great defensive point guard ala Gary Payton. He's slow and now he has bad wheels. Getting traded isn't going to make him younger. The fast PGs that we always have trouble with continually roast Kidd.

Signifigantly better? Not really, its kind of odd you suggesting that the one thing Kidd adds is the ability to take a charge when that's one of Fisher's biggest assets on D. "use his frame to man up"? What exactly does that mean? Fisher is one of the more physically built point guards out there. There is no signifigant upgrade on D from Fisher to Kidd.
