City can't afford to pay for Lakers' parade

They should charge everybody "tree fiddy" just to stand on the sidewalk and cheer like morons. Problem solved IMO.

I was thinking "foe fiddy," but whatever works.
I also think the city should slap a "City Rebuilding" tax of $10 on every piece of Lakers clothing or memorabilia sold after the team wins a championship to help pay for the inevitable destruction of city property by bat-**** loony neanderthal hoodlum fans.

Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.

i'm not taking furlough days just so the city can have money to a stupid laker parade.

Why can't the ****ing Lakers pay for it?

Good question and one I was thinking myself. They do have the money.

That's one thing I hate about LA sports, the retards that trash and destroy the city make the city and teams look really really bad.

Pfft. They say always say that. Tough shiiiiit. Give Jack Nicholson what he wants!

I would expect this for the Kings, not the Lakers.

I was surprised that the city paid for the last parades. The city should not be paying for these, the teams should.

The Lakers could easily pay for it with the playoff revenue bonus they get.
