Does Kobe deserve the MVP this year?

Yawn. Keep attacking those arguments we haven't made. I watched all five games, thanks. We didn't get robbed; we got beaten. Badly, I might add. The refs don't put the ball in the basket last I checked.

And like I said, after the gifts we got in 2002, Laker fans have nothing to whine about.

The Lakers got killed in a 7 game series. There's no excuse.

I believe there are announced late first round, start of the 2nd round...If I remember correct when Shaq won in 2000.

FWIW, why Kobe instead of Garnett? Who's had a bigger impact than KG?

Yeah, that memory burns in my brain. What I remember most about that series is that every damn game (it seemed), the Lakers could not get any early lead. Every single game the Pistons were out of the gate up 5 to 10 points. Insanely annoying.

I honestly think that it's ONLY between these 2. Time is not on their side anymore, not that Kobe or KG is going to retire next season, but Paul has many more years to come. I hate to say it but I believe whoever doesn't win it, isn't going to win one at all.

If only Kupchak had dealt him to Chicago when the deal was on the table.

Maybe then the Lakers could have won their Division and finished the season as the #1 seed in the West.
