    Default If YOU had the 1st pick in the 2008 NBA draft...

    Who would you pick?

    I'm tired of all the speculation. Personally, I am a Beasley skeptic, and a Rose believer. But while we're at it, I think Kevin Love and Jerryd Bayless (among others) will be solid NBA players too.

    If I'm Chicago I'd take Derrick Rose. Solid fundamental player, young, bulky, quick, sharp mind, sees the floor, can drive, cut or just take a perimeter shot. I'm a big supporter of this kid because his ability matches (seemingly) his intellect and demeanor.

    For some reason, I'm not very sold on Love. I think he might be a bust. Not big enough (nba-size) for his position and not very athletic.

    Westbrook goes 4th to Seattle, while Kevin Love sits on the bench with Milwuakee drooling his name.

    Maybe not... ESPN is reporting that Love is getting his rights traded to Minnesota, and Mayo is going to Memphis in a multi-player deal.
