Finals MVP Kobe Bryant(notes) hit "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" on Wednesday to talk about taking his Lakers to their first NBA championship this decade without Robert Horry(notes), err, Shaquille O'Neal(notes). As FirstCuts notes, nothing really earth-shattering, except perhaps Conan's assumption that Kobe sits around eating ice cream while he watches "SpongeBob SquarePants." Conan, Conan, Conan ... Kobe doesn't eat ice cream, he forces it into submission.

And after the commercial break/jump, Kobe talks about how Phil Jackson tries to get the Lakers to meditate — "Adam, you're a frog on a Lily pad— stop smoking for crying out loud!"

Also, Conan pleads with Kobe to help him score better Staples Center seats. You'll see why.

What time does Conan tape? o_o Did Kobe do this before or after the parade?

Around 5:00pm, so it was after the parade.

I can't see the clip at work, but does it show the part with Tom Cruise and Fonzie wax figures at the parade?
