That's pretty awesome. The Kandi Man worked out well with that #1 pick. Players they passed on that year: Bibby, Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce all went in the top 10.

I should have known better, but I also deserve better. Elton Brand is dead to me. In the end, I have one of my favorite players, UCLA's very own Bomb Dizzle, so at least they'll be interesting.

anyone hear Dunleavy on 710 this afternoon?
I missed it, but according to the clips espn boards he:
- was reading text messages between himself and Brand, where Brand said get me 5-years $75 million and Davis and I'm in
- has a written contract with the 5/75 terms; wasn't signed but has Falk's writing all over it.
- spoke yesterday with Davis, who is none too happy.
They picked up Marcus Camby for a second round pick. Having two guys that averaged 13 boards and 3 blocks isn't too shabby.
I don't think there is a 4/5 combo that matches well against Kaman and Camby. If BDiddy can figure out how to make these guys work well on offense, the Clipps look pretty good.
I don't see a 4/5 combo in the west that the Clipps cannot dominate the matchup defensively. If you're too fast for Kaman, Camby guards you. If you're too big for Camby, Kaman guards you.
Then on offense, Kaman get's all the low post touches, Camby gets his 18 ft jumper, so the 2 bigs cannot camp down low. I don't know if I'd want to be a big facing those two, and then helping on the Davis and Thorton drives. If Gordon and Mobley can be useful 3 pointers, Clipps might salvage the season. Clipps might actually be very good if Thomas can stop being so lazy too.

Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, Tim Thomas, Eric Gordon, Shaun Livingston, Al Thornton.
Not exactly a scary team on paper but i think they will be surprisingly good.
Shaun Livingston? He get a new leg or something?
Or a new contract? Wasn't he cut a few weeks ago?
wow camby for basically nothing. He and Kaman should make for a tough defensive duo (if they stay healthy). Wlil probably see a lot of alley-oops coming from Baron this year.
I think Camby's got 2 years left on his deal. And if I'm not mistaken mobley and thomas come off the books then?
Clippers should have a lot of cap room come 2010..
