i was talking to somebody, i forget who, that said the Lakers Jekyll and Hyde act is getting old. i hate the Lakers, but i have to agree. it's clear that jackson is phoning it in, but what the rest of these guys? don't they know a good playoff run will get them paid. apparently only ariza has learned that lesson.

It's not even a matter of Jekyll and Hyde in this series. Denver has been the better team for the most part except for the first 22 minutes of game 2. The Lakers could have been swept or have been down 3-1 at this point if Anthony, Billups and Smith weren't shooting a combined 40% or so. The Lakers need to learn to play defense without fouling so much. All the free throws have off set the rough shooting. If those guys heat up it's going to be tough to win this series.
