Id rather have Kobe take more shots and miss them as opposed to letting the likes of Kwame, Cook, Sasha, (Insert another jobber here), and have them miss half their shots. (And to answer your question, that was a big part of the loss, but i think the free throw line is where it boiled down to, especially when he's a 80% free throw shooter and he shoots 67% for the night. We expect Kobe to shoot for a low percentage, but free throws not as low.)
