    Default Lakers in a pileup!!!

    So I was on my way yesterday to pick up my carpool buddy before jumping on the freeway, and as traffic slowed down, I saw most of the aftermath of this:

    I was stopped at the light as they fired up the jaws, and as I drove by, I looked over and said "That guy looks like Lamar Odom". He was walking around, and he seemed to be upset and concerned about the well being of the individual.
    at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

    they're not getting a number 1 pick...unless they somehow get lucky with the balls. they'll probably be at the bottom of the lottery and get a middle pick again. ugh...
