    Like Irisher mentioned, Brown played at UNC and has Carolina roots. It's not really surprising to me. Plus Brown is a nomad, it's not really a surprise wherever he turns up for me.

    I don't see this as a good move....what a young team needs is stability. Someone like Byron Scott, who can grow with the team. If there is any sign of trouble in Charlotte, he will bounce, just like he did with the Clippers, Pacers, Knicks etc...
