Alright, I'm in full root against your own team to get a better draft pick mode. Last year I was in this state of mind at around week 3. Took a little longer this year and the Raiders have lost a few close games but yea it's time to start tanking it.

Our run defense is just atrocious so if Dorsey is available he makes the most sense. And our oline sucks again so Jake Long makes sense But if



is available, I'm all over him. He's #1 on Paolo's big board for the Raiders. Assuming he comes out of course.

vs Jets
@ Buffalo
vs Ravens
@ New England
vs Cincy

It's hard to see anyone beating Miami for the first overall. Looks like they sealed that one up.

Yea, this is going to be an interesting draft. There will be a number of first round QBs (Woodson, Brohm, Ryan, and Brennan), and you could make the argument that the teams inline for the first 5 picks don't need a QB(Dolphins, Rams, Jets, Patriots, Raiders). That's right, the Patriots own the Niners first round pick so let's all pray the Niners start winning.

Anyways, the Dolphins drafted Beck last year and Cameron seems high him even though he's like 26 and he can't beat out Cleo Lemon. It makes sense for them to draft a QB but they have holes elsewhere and I'm not sure Cameron will admit to the mistake(not drafting Quinn)

The Rams have Bulger and I believe just gave him a pretty big extension. He's not the most durable QB, but spending a top 5 pick on a QB does not seem wise.

The Jets have Kellen Clemens, not sure if he's the answer but I think he looks promising. They're probably the front runners for the McFadden sweepstakes.

The Patriots obviously have Brady, no need for a QB.

And the Raiders of course have JaMarcus so no QB need there.

So Atlanta might luck out and get their pick of the litter(smart money seems to be Brohm with the Petrino link)

Similarly, you could make the argument that the two worst teams don't really have the need for a RB. So McFadden could slide to 3. The Dolphins have Brown(Torn ACL I know, but he's still young) and the Rams have Jackson(got hurt this year but usually durable). It'll probably behoove one of those teams to trade down for extra picks, I'm sure someone would love to get McFadden(Cowboys?)

Let's not count out the Jets just yet. I believe 1-15 is totally feasible.

Good point, the Jets and Dolphins have one more game against each other. The loser of that one will probably be in the driver seat for that #2 pick.

For the Jets it's pretty simple right, Darren McFadden? Jones hasn't been very good this year and he's close to 30(29). I know there's a few Jet fans on this board(TBrown33 is one I think). He would know their needs better than me.

If McFadden is available I think they have to take him. Then the rest of the draft, build up that defense(I think there will be a lot of turnover since some of their personal are more suited to the 4-3). Give Clemens a full season next year with McFadden and they won't be as terrible.

I tell yea Sedrick Ellis looked awesome last night. He looks like a Warren Sapp clone. The Raiders need more of a plugger at DT but Ellis could be a very good pick if the Raiders win some cheap games and end up picking in the top 6 rather than the top 3.

Big game today for the potential #1 draft pick Darren McFadden. LSU's defense is banged up but it'll be the best defense he'll face this year.

Bulger out with another concussion. Maybe they do look for a quarterback in the first round. I say the Patriots draft Steve Slaton.

Hmmmm, I don't think Slaton will go in the top 10 or even the top 15. If they draft a RB it will be McFadden. If not they'll probably draft a dlineman.
