Thread: BCS Bowls Wish

I wish in the Rose Bowl it would be:

USC vs Georgia
USC vs LSU


I think SC is playing very well and better than any school. A lot of the sports media agrees.

In order for that to have even the tiniest chance of happening, you need Ohio State to make the title game, so root for Oklahoma (vs. Missouri) and/or UConn (@ West Virginia) this weekend.

LSU is impossible, as they'll either go to the Sugar Bowl as the SEC champion or be out of the BCS entirely with 3 losses after the Tennessee game.

Georgia is a slight possibility as a replacement pick for Ohio State moving up, but again you need one of the top two teams to lose first.

In other words: don't bet on it.

I know what you are saying....I was just wishing USC (provided if they win on Sat) was playing Georgia, instead of Ohio State. I dont think Ohio State can hang with SC. There are a lot of overrated teams, LSU, West Virginia, etc.... Hell, I am sure SC was a bit overrated this season but at this point, I think dollar for dollar SC has the best team. IMO.

In my dream world, UCLA beats USC and USC doesn't play in the Rose Bowl.

I don't get the SC hype machine. Booty is the same QB who sucked ass against UCLA last year and against Stanford this year. He's got a great arm and he plays well when he gets great protection, but he's never performed well against a defense that will get after him.

ASU is a highly overrated team who just barely beat us with our 3rd string QB (and we SUCK with Osaar Rasshan at QB). Anyone who didn't think USC was going to rout them needed their head checked or was deceived by ASU's bogus ranking.

USC's a very good team, but the best in the country? Please.

I don't watch a lot of college football, but my true BCS dream is a title game of Ohio State vs. Georgia. Just to put the final coda on this ridiculous season.
