What's the deal w/ the Confidence pick?

Do all picks have to be in by Friday or game to game?

Does the spread count? (looks like it doesn't, just checking).

so, the confidence points are by most confident gets the bigger points, for example if you are more confident in USC winning you assign 32pts and if you pick OSU over LSU and are not that confident you assign only one pt. is that right?

and I know for sure you have to make all your picks at once, if not the confidence pts would be moot.
