UCLA isn't a football school and still somehow puts about the same amount of successful pro's on football field.

RJ Soward, Mike Williams, Dwayne Jarrett, Leinart, Bush, Jacob Rogers, Keary Colbert, Shaun Cody, that's just off the top of my head. USC Success list is pretty small. (palmer, polamalu, Tatupu, Mike Patterson, and Cassell)

Real true NFL talent producing team is the Canes. That list of stars is unbelievable.

    No, we don't.

Again, if you put a lot of guys in the league, a lot of them won't pan out. Most players in the NFL don't become stars. It's simple math. At least they're getting to the league.

I already mentioned all those except Steve Smith. Nice add on tho, he is definitely stepping up for a 2nd rounder.

Ronnie Lott?? You want me to scream Troy Aikman or something? Talking about pretty recent players here.

Best players in the league come from Miami. You named a handful of players and one of them is 40 for gods sake. We were talking more recent but even with your 40 year old included, 1 great Miami team outperforms the last 10 years of USC combined.

Not trying to be a homer here, but some of the best players in the league during their time have come from USC. For instance:

    Junior Seau
    Troy Palomalu
    Marcus Allen
    Lynn Swann
    O.J. Simpson
    Frank Gifford

    Ronnie MFING Lott!!!

    That's to name a few.

Edit: Was having a hell of a time posting for some reason. And the Lott thing I'm a little overboard about because he was my favorite player.

And yet UCLA has one guy who could be called a star in the NFL: Maurice Jones-Drew.

There isn't really a comparison. To act like USC isn't a factory for NFL talent is just foolish, even for my fellow UCLA fans.

Compare them to UCLA yeah, that's how you make them sound good. Compare them to Miami, Ohio State, Florida State, etc etc. Why would you even compare them to a basketball school?

Uberjarhead, CAN YOU READ? recent not a million years ago. It is nice to see that I can still match your list of players from recent Miami guys and you are going way back in time here.

You still have Carson Palmer among a field of fairly successful players who may not be all stars, but they're out there. And time will tell on the 09 class. You just simply can't state that USC is full of NFL busts when it's not true.

Don't get ugly and personal about it. Can YOU read? I said I was having an issue posting, so simmer down.

How backwards do you have to be? Your team can barely put out a starter in the NFL and you're bragging because Bush and Lienart aren't the hottest players in the league? It's like the Kings fans who find joy and happiness when the Ducks lose a playoff series. Who gives a **** when your team isn't even in the post season?
