    With the reggie bush situation coming up and now this looks like there will be sanctions against USC.
    I have heard the figure is closer to 10M a year to be coach adn GM. for that kind of money I would be moving too.

    It'll be hard to get a proven coach as long as NCAA sanctions are an unknown. While Pete's departure suggests that the outcome of the investigation may be severe, who knows? SC can easlily overcome minor sanctions but who wants to step into a severly penalized program? It will be interesting who they end up with. Whovever they get will likely be a placeholder for the "name" coach who comes in after sanctions.
