oooooooooooooooooooooohhhh sooooo close
One of my favorite things about College football is when they announce schools that youve never heard of and have no idea what state theyre located in.
Bucknell 35 Amherst 10
As for this weekends games here are some thoughts...
Appalachian St. vs Michigan - Could Michigan open with a bigger creme puff? At least my huskers are playing nevada-also a creme puff but at least you know the state.
Ive got a hundy riding on the big Middle Tenn St vs Florida Atlantic(not to be confused with Florida Pacific).
My lock of the week-Take Idaho and the points vs USC on the first half. In the second half take USC and give the points.
My other advice-never bet on week one of College or Pro football as the Vegas powers that be have had months to get every scrap of detail possible and ran every scenario endlessly.
Rutgers #16. Wow.
just a few more days!!!!!
There are actually quite a few games on Thursday night. That makes it 3 more days!!!
Much appreciated... was out of the office all day yesterday.Quote:

Plenty of teams play garbage opponents in their first game. It doesn't bother me except when teams start dipping into I-AA (like Appalachian St.). USC is opening against Idaho--it might be 70-0 by halftime.Quote:

Eh, who cares? It's not called College Football Saturday for no reason. 9 times out of 10 the Thursday games suck.Quote:

You sure you didn't type that wrong????
Putting any money on Idaho at all as a lock of the week is insane. How many points do you think you are getting in the first half? And what leads you to believe that it won't be 35 - 0 USC at the end of the 1st half?
Do you realize how bad Idaho is?
I would never touch Idaho in that game with money on the line.
