**** Troy State. Michigan is going to win me that back though. I already lost the parlay I had Florida in (again, thanks to Troy St) but I have them in another teaser. Up 8 and I only need them to cover 1.5. Still got BYU, SDSU, and USC later. Also took Arkansas straight up.

I think Michigan may win. they're only up 38-0 with 3 minutes left.

I have a quick question, and I need a logical answer.

Why did USC kick off to start the 1st half and then kick off to start the 2nd half??

I've been watching football for many many many years, and i've never seen this before. Anyone know the answer to this? I don't have a link, but if you got to yahoo sports and find the play by play of the game, it details the fact that USC kicked off to start both halfs. Is this some new college football rule?

Well Colorado made me sweat(almost got a cheap TD late) but a Florida State win saves my college football weekend which was pretty mediocre as far as gambling goes.

Florida State and USC were wins

Lost on OSU and BYU.

Pushed on Arkansas.

I have a handful of bets tomorrow. Hopefully that salvages my gambling weekend.

Nebraska won the toss and elected to take the ball in the second half. USC had to decide if they wanted to kick or receive the ball. The went ahead and kicked and played defense for the first, which I think was a smart move because that place was loud! I missed the first few minutes but once USC had the ball the game was over.

Thanks for the response, but if they played D to start the first half, why would they play D to start the second half as well?

I thought I heard that USC won the toss to start the game and deferred. Wouldn't that mean they'd get the ball to start the 2nd half? Or does USC get to decide if they want to kick off or receive for the 2nd half as well as the first half?

I know this isn't a big deal, but it's driving me nutty.

That's all I got. My usual recipe is just to get blitzed out my mind after bad losses. This happened last year vs. UW also.
