Wow. That's kind of a messed up situation.

He is completely ruining his legacy. He will now be know as a wishy-washy whiner. I think its great that GB won't let him go play for someone else. F him.

I only want him to play again so we can see more of his wife.

The Lemieux situation was totally different than this. He took a year off to get his batteries recharged, the 2nd time was to fill the building that he owned.
