Theoretically the curse affects players with injury or ****ty play. None of that has happened to Favre yet and it didn't happen to Sanders.

I like believing in the Madden Curse because it's funny, like all these retarded sports theories it's basically BS.
    Of course it's BS. However....

Sanders DID appear on the cover of Madden 2000 (in a background image) and then retired before the 99/00 season.

So... as far as I'm concerned it counts.

I hope Strahan sees him and sacks him in the parking lot for continuing to play. Notice how he came back after Strahan retired?

Eli owns New York and owns Farve, even in cold weather. Real men wear big blue!!! The Jets are nothing but tenants.

The curse is that he has to play for the Jets.

Ahhh, the Canadian that thinks he knows something about American Football. It's Favre not Farve. Brett going to the Jets will bring back the days of Joe Namath to the Jersey area.

The L.A. Times says the Jets only have $6.5M in cap space, and Favre makes $12M. Pennington us slated to make $6M. So, it looks probable.

    DAMN The Jets.

I will be in Chicago in Sept., and will probably head to Soldier Field to see the Bears v. Tampa. I was hoping Favre would have been sent to Tampa.

I'm perfectly okay with Favre not being in the NFC South.

Screw Farvvv. Im glad he's doing this **** to ruin his reputation. Show everyone the truth of it all.
Its too bad that Favre wants to still play. He was only the second best quarterback last year.

He made a mistake about retiring in March, however, most of us have changed our mind once or twice in a lifetime.

Good for him, at 38 he is still better than 3/4 of the quarterbacks out there!
