I think it's right up there with the best. Gundy deserves his spot along side Dennis Green, Jim Mora, and Mike Ditka.

Very well played. Even without reading the article I'm pretty sure I would side with the coach. Attacking amateur athletes is bush league.

Not so sure about that, he has given Jenni Carlson plenty of publicity out of this. Never attack someone who buys ink by the barrel. The public tirade wasn't necessary IMO. He thinks its bad for a lower Big 12 team like Ok State? Wait until he goes into a hotbed like Florida or Texas.

His rant rules because he's not bitching about the refs or his players and because it was rather clean. He got his point across very well and it was a damn good one.

its not women sports writers, its overall idiotic sports writers who would rather make up sexy fiction to get people reading and talking than share the truth.

Im all about a coach who will come out and tell a writer what they put out is bull**** and defend their players.

Agree with those who feel that he has given the reporter more pub then she would ever get in her lifetime. But he looks like the idiot overall due to the rant.
